How it plays

• Set up in secret. Place your army on a 9 by 9 board. The enemy only sees the backs of your pieces, and you only see theirs.
• Every attack is a guess. A scout reads an enemy unit as weak, medium or strong. Only a clash tells you what it really was.
• Sealed orders. Before the first move you open one of two envelopes, such as taking an objective or winning three fights with one unit. Complete it for extra points. The enemy has one too.
• Three ways to win. Take the enemy command post, hold two of the three objectives, or leave the other army so far behind that it withdraws.

What makes Hidden Command different

• A jamming zone in the centre hides who won a clash
• Drones jump over the line
• Mech infantry on overwatch stops any armour or special forces that charge it
